Well, it’s super super hot down here in Florida Hope everyone is staying cool and having fun. ¬†ūüôā

Switched up my bedside flowers. This week I went with daisies. I couldn’t help it…they were so colorful and screamed happiness!

Finally bought the Essential City Bag by Foley & Corrina.  Love that you can carry on your arm or fold it in half and wear as a cross body.

New Polishes by Revlon. I like color on my nails but for the most part I’m always in some neutral color. These shades are perfect with a tan.

Found these Starbuck refreshers at Walmart and I’m totally addicted! Like seltzer water but sweet and energizing.

Stylish Swimsuits

With summer around the corner and my weight loss efforts in full gear, I’m starting to get excited about trying different styles of stylish swimsuits.¬† So far I’ve gotten a striped bikini and a pastel tankini but as the numbers on the scale go down my choice in swimsuits are getting a tad smaller! ūüôā¬† Nothing too skimpy; just want to enjoy all the hard work I’ve put into losing the weight! ¬†In my last swimsuit post I covered the trends and patterns in bathing suits for women but this time I wanted to focus more on the fits and my favorite cover ups. ¬†Believe it or not, most of my swimsuit shopping is online and I’ve really lucked out with great selections and bargains. ¬†The r collection by raisins swimwear has bold fun prints that make it easy to mix and match prints and fits. ¬†I love mismatched bathing suits and style them just as I would an outfit with accessories, and raisins swimwear is perfect just for that!

This tankini has the perfect balance of sexy and coverage.¬† I love the open back and halter front.¬† This one allows the best of both worlds – it’s not just a tankini for juniors! ¬†I can even see the top worn with a maxi skirt after a day on the beach.

This bikini is my favorite and I hope by this summer I am shape to wear it. But if you’re lucky enough to pull it off go for it!¬† This top is adorable and will definitely ¬†stand out on the beach…and like the top in the tankini it can be worn with a skirt or shorts – so cute!

A roll waste pant bikini bottom in a one of a kind bandeaus swimsuit that’s a must have. ¬†The flattering style provides coverage on all the right spots and makes it easier to pull off a bandeau top by balancing out the top and bottom (I own three and swear by them).

One Piece

While I’m definitely enjoying the fact that I can wear a two piece this year, I’m also a mom and need to have a one piece handy.¬† This sun goddess one piece by r collection gives both the sexy in the back and coverage in the front¬† – perfection!!

My absolute favorite part of swimsuit shopping is picking out a cute beach cover up!  Normally I would pick out something loose and comfy but I also love the idea of a cute romper.  A solid romper can be worn all day and night over swimsuits.  A must have for vacation or even just for fun with a pair of wedges.

This weekend after I celebrated my sons 8th birthday I decided to take a few days off and do what I do best…SHOP! I took my time and hit a bunch of local Tampa boutiques that I love and found a ton of great stuff on sale. ¬†Although I never made it to a mall, I did make my obligatory stops at Ross, Marshalls and of course T.J. Maxx. ¬†My favorite purchases were the gray booties and chambray top seen below that I found for only $5 at T.J. Maxx. ¬†I’ve been looking for this particular worn-out grayish/taupe colored booties for some time now, and I finally found them on sale for only $20!¬† The built in wedge gives me the height that I always want but still keeps me super comfy.¬† I can’t wait to wear them with my shorts and skirts this summer (actually this weekend because it’s going to be in the 80’s).¬† Click here for some outfit ideas.

I can’t believe he’s 8 years old!
