5 Spring Picks

Living down here in Florida doesn’t exactly let you enjoy fall and winter fashion to the fullest but it does let you enjoy spring and summer trends a lot earlier than most.  So while I do envy the layering, boots and all the cozy accessories most of you get to wear I also appreciate that I can probably rock some pastel colored pieces and maybe even shorts on just about any day of the week.  So with that said check out some of my favorite spring trends, some of which you can probably wear now if you layer and/or accessorize properly.

Last year I was loving pastel skinnies and not much has changed for this year.  Pastel is a spring must have.

Pastel Jeans

Candy Crop Jeans – $68 at Nastygal.com | Mint Skinny Jeans – $98 at Superdry.com

I’m loving white blazers this year.  I do have one that I wore quite frequently last year BUT it wasn’t a crisp white tuxedo blazer like this one from Express.  Add some gold like one of my favorite bloggers Love Maegan and you’re good to go.

Booties will still be around in full force and I’m thinking these metallic sheen booties will go perfect with spring dresses or with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a tee – love them!

Spring Booties

Belle By Sigerson Morissison Yoko Booties – $88.50 at Shopbop.com

Warmer weather calls for dainty jewelry.  Pile on thin shimmer bangles like these from Gorjana.

Gorjana Bangles

Shimmer Bangles – $95 at Gorjana.com
Bucket bags will be a big trend.  Try them out in neutral colors to compliment your spring palette.

Looking to inject a little spring into your winter pieces? The perfect way to do that is by simply swapping out your winter boots for a pair or spring hued pumps (even if you have to pack them in your bag while you make your way through the snow).  Below are 3 adorable pairs of pumps from Yeswalker that will liven-up any winter outfit.

Add a little fun to your sweaters and jeans with these yellow bow accent pumps.  Tip: for a quirky look that will help keep your feet warmer add little ankle socks.

For more casual look try bright kitten heels.  The metal accent on the pair below give them a more expensive feel and can easily be worn with tights. Tip: don’t over accessorize; let the shoes do all the work and slip on a chunky watch and/or bangles.
