My favorite nail polishes are the dark vampy type: it can be a deep dark green, a oxblood burgundy or the new classic black. This week I decided to mix my favorite forest green by cosmetic arts that I bought at Ross for only $1.99. It’s amazing I love that it’s really smooth and barely needs a second coat and I also used Revlon’s Nail Art in ulterior motif. I normally would have done the green on it’s own but it’s Halloween this week and my birthday is the day after so I wanted something a little more fun and what better way than with sparkles! Below are the steps to my mani.
What I used:
Revlon Ulterior Motif
Wet n Wild Clear Polish
Cosmetic Art #34
1. I applied one thick coat of clear polish.
2. Two coats of the green (only half the nail on the ring fingers) and let dry.
3. Apply 3 coats of the sparkle end of Ulterior Motif to the ring fingers.
4. After all the nails are dry lights brush the sparkle along the sides of nails. I formed a v to create a pattern but it’s also very pretty if you apply sporadically.
