During the summer I like to create a bursting palette of color in my closet, like a dish of vibrant summer fruit. Hey, if science has proven that the more color on your plate the healthier it is, than maybe the same holds true for a colorful outfits hanging in your closet! To me, being happy with what you’re wearing goes hand in hand with being healthy and one of the most cheerful colors is yellow. It’s bright like the sun and just as refreshing as Caress® Juicy Escape™ Fresh Collection Body Wash – one of the many luscious body washes from their new collection.
Last time I focused on their emerald green wash and how beautiful it looked with this years pantone color radiant orchid and this time my focus is on the gorgeous yellow. I have to admit the Caress® Juicy Escape™ Fresh Collection Body Wash is probably my favorite one of the bunch. The scent is like summer in a bottle bursting with sun-kissed lily and a pinch of tangy pink grapefruit essence – it’s a must have! This time I decided to work with a yellow blazer for summer. I know it’s hot out but there’s always those times when you’re in AC and it’s chilly…plus it’s a polished yet fun piece that can easily work its way into any outfit.
I like to pair yellow with bright whites, beige and even some grays to give it a minimalistic feel. For example if you want to add a pop of color to a sleek work outfit try adding a well fitted yellow blazer, white slacks and a pretty white blouse. It’s professional yet stylish and the white keeps it simple and sleek.
Yellow works beautifully in a casual look as well. Simply pair the yellow blazer with denim shorts, a tee and sandals. Any color denim will work but I like the contrast between the distressed dark denim and the yellow because it gives it more of an effortless cool vibe.
You can even follow the same pattern with an evening look by pairing the yellow blazer with a flirty white dress and sexy strap sandals. Another look that’s simple without sacrificing an ounce of style.
Three looks that will brighten any day or night much like Caress® Juicy Escape™ Fresh Collection Body Wash.
The Caress® Fresh collection wraps your skin in vibrant scents and hydrating lather, leaving it revitalized and delicately scented. Try the new Caress® Fresh Collection and revitalize your skin like never before.
When you live in Florida sandals are part of your wardrobe 365 days a year and I’m constantly looking for a new style. Because I’m always shopping for a new pair I’m more often than not searching for an affordable pair. Now if they’re a classic style that won’t go out of style I spend a little more but for the most part I try to stick under $50. Below I picked some of my favortie pairs under $50.
I have a love hate thing with this style. I can appreciate long gladiators sandals like Kourtney Kardashian is constantly seen wearing but they’re just not for me. I stick to platforms, wedges and flats but I’ve included a little bit of everything below. These are perfect to wear with a romper or some summer lace.

I don’t know about you but there’s no such thing as packing too many shoes for a a summer vacation – and with Yeswalker’s BOGO it’s kind of easy to get carried away! I like to pack a comfy pair, a pair for dressy looks, a laid back dressy look pair, and I always bring wedges to give me height without discomfort (and if I have the room a different colored flip flop for each day). Check out some cute options from Yeswalker below.

When it comes to summer heels I like them to have a casual feel but still give me the sexy height. For the most part wedges do the trick, but sometimes I want a little more oomph and while looking around for a pair to wear all summer I found these

I’m not a sun lover and during the colder weather I normally use L’Oreal’s Sublime Bronze self tanning mist for a hint of color, but I try to get a real tan a few times a year and last week I managed to sneak away to the beach for the day. I’m not as tanned as I’d like to be but it’s definitely an improvement and it looks great with my little white dress, orange blazer and new tan sandals. 🙂

After a few extremely bright outfits that were probably put together by her stylist Brad (sorry I’m team Zoe, but his show is fun to watch) Jessica Alba once again nails another casual yet chic look. The combination of blazer, a simple white tee and wide leg jeans is perfection! All the pieces offer a million options, such as wearing the blazer to work or over a little black dress for the evening. Love it and it’s just my style! Get Jessica’s look for less with pieces from Old Navy, Sears & more!
Let’s face it, Megan Fox looks sexy in just about anything. Personally, I think she looks best dressed down (like shown below) in distressed jeans and a simple black top. Get Megan Fox’s look for less!

Here’s the deal: It’s not that I don’t like Kate Bosworth’s look (it is kinda Bohemian cool), it’s just that the colors don’t do anything for her and it definitely would not be my first choice for Summer wear. I can see someone wearing booties with a Summer dress, but Kate’s wearing a tee, vest, scarf and booties. For the redo, I decided to swap out the gray tee for a white tank and instead of the booties I added a pair of woven platforms. The pieces I chose will allow you to easily mix and match them with other Summer essentials (like the tank with shorts or the vest with dresses).
