Leather will always be edgy and cool. Whether a jacket, pants, accent or even a top it’s a fool proof way to look instantly stylish. This year leather is back in full force (along with the color black and that makes me wanna do a happy dance!) and when combined with cozy fall sweaters, leatherpieces will surely make any outfit standout. Below are some of my favorite leather pieces and what to wear them with.
An amazing leather jacket like this one from Nordstrom is a must have in any women’s closet. Wear over a little black dress or with jeans and a tee.
LOVE this trendy denim moto jacket! Wear with a metallic tank, skinny jeans and high heeled booties for a sleek night look
Looking to wear a little leather to the office? Try a pencil skirt with leather accents.
A leather tee will kick your casual looks up a notch! Pair with a statement necklace for extra flair.
A cozy cardigan with a leather trim is SO chic!
Comfy faux leather pants really do exist! These Bisou Biosu pants are faux leather in the front and a point knit in the back.
Believe it or not spring is right around the corner and with that comes the in-between temps that I love. It’s the sort of weather where you can still wear a scarf but dont have to bundle up, making it one of my favorite seasons for fashion (besides fall). Most winter’s I can get by on spring coats (I live in Florida) but they are some what hard to find so I always head to the mall and spend a little more on them. FIrst spot I always hit up is where I spent almost 10 years working —
There’s nothing better than a dress in a pretty shade of yellow to make your summer days even brighter. These five are the “thrown-on-the-go” kind that every woman needs in their closet. Tip: Choose classic shapes like a shift dress, wrap, maxi or a simple tank dress…they’re the most flattering and withstand any trend ( I don’t know about you but I like to pull out my summer dresses every year and get the most out of them). Pair them with cobalt heels for an extra punch of color; flip flops for a effortless feel; or classic wedges.
Ashley Greene looked effortlessly chic at Comic Con in a ruffled blouse, skinny jeans and House of Harlow sandals. Get Ashley’s look with pieces from Opi, Papaya Clothing, Nordstrom and more!
Alexa Chung’s style is carefree, fun and refreshingly quirky in a Hollywood obsessed with being overly trendy. Although my version is more of a guide than a copycat, the beauty is in the simplicity. Hope you like it!

Cardigan’s: a must-have in every girls closet. It’s the perfect transitional piece and can be dressed up or down with everything from shorts, jeans, skirts to dresses. Check out some of my favorites below!
Shoes hot. Shorts cute. But when put together with a safari-like jacket it just doesn’t work for the everyday gal. Beyonce looks great, of course, but the outfit just seems too Hollywood. The shoes are a bit overpowering for the outfit and the shorts simply look out of place. So I went ahead and swapped Beyonce’s denim shorts for a denim pencil skirt and added shoes that were more understated. What do you think of Beyonce’s outfit?
