LOVE the Tokyo necklace by Twisted Silver! Although inspired by the style of Tokyo, the necklace really captures the unique street fashion of Shinjuku and Harajuku, Japan. Some of my favorite features include the “hard” look of the blackened metal circles, the adjustable length, and quite simply the way it lies flat against the contours of my skin. Whether I’m going for the city chic style or an effortlessly sophisticated look, the Tokyo necklace is on heavy rotation with nearly all of my outfits. Check out some of my outfits below that feature the Tokyo necklace available tomorrow at Twisted-Silver.com! Use coupon code INSIDERS to take 15% off any order from www.twisted-silver.com. What can I say, I love Lauren Conrad’s style! Here she’s wearing a navy skirt, a white tee and looking fabulous as usual it’s the perfect blend of classy, trendy, and preppy with the just right amount of sexiness. I changed the skirt to one that I personally own and can attest to it’s perfect fit and details. And you gotta love the name necklace (see below), which I highlighted in a previous post! Nicole Richie’s outfit is adorable but I think the peplum skirt is a bit extravagant for the everyday gal like myself. In my version, I added a tulip skirt to tone down the overall vibe of the outfit while still maintaining its integrity. Get Nicole’s look for less!
Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively looking classic and chic in a sweater dress and cropped leather jacket. Perfect day to night outfit with tons of other possibilities. Take the sweater dress and pair it with a blazer for work. The leather jacket can be worn with jeans, slacks (with a crisp white shirt underneath) and skirts. And let’s not forget about the nude heels and the funky clutch…..The nude heels would look fierce with a pair of jeans and the clutch can add a bit of character to just about any outfit.
Gwyneth Paltrow attending the screening for her new movie, Two Lovers. You have to wonder just how many “yes men” are in her inner circle. Couldn’t one friend – just one – let her know that the outfit looks ridiculous and a little indulgent? Anyway, I decided to re-dress Gwyneth myself in a playful dress and a leather jacket to give the outfit a slight edge….What do you think?
Victoria Beckham channeling Audrey Hepburn. Best thing about this look is the variety of ways you can wear each individual piece! The dress can be worn alone; the shrug can be worn with a pair of jeans or over another dress; and the classic satchel can be used throughout any season. Whether matched with designer shoes or knock-off’s, you’ll definitely be able to channel your inner Hepburn for less…..
