Summer plaids can be down right flirty and fun if worn with the right pieces. The idea is to keep it fuss free and a little unconventional. Pair your plaids with bright colors, bold accessories and ditch your traditional sandals for flat espadrilles or sneaks. I paired the adorable handkerchief hem skirt from Yesstyle.com with two different blazers. One is a more nautical look and the other a trendier version. Both looks can be worn for day or night and easily taken apart and worn many ways. Tip: avoid tight fits – plaids are meant to be casual and easy to wear even if it’s a dress or skirt.

The only thing I don’t like about this outfit is the smug look on January Jones’ face and the bun. just sayin.. Anyway, it’s a sleek outfit that’s perfect for a stylish mom on the go or a laid back weekend look. Best part about it is that it can easily be worn right into spring and even summer by swapping out the boots and simply adding a skirt and sandals or even some leggings. Get January’s look for less with pieces from Infinity Shoes, J Crew and more!

A bit pricier than my usual Copycat post but I really liked Jennifer Aniston’s look and I think it’s a style that will be around for a while (especially in the color gray). I don’t usually make a habit of buying dresses at this price online, but a J.Crew maxi dress ( or a long A Lined Hem as they describe it) is a hard one to pass up!
Love Katherine Hiegl’s Spring chic look! This is another one of those outfits that offers a ton of possibilities: The cardigan can be worn over a dress for a more comfy look and even used to replace a jacket for the office. The white shirt goes with everything (skirts, shorts or slacks). I can totally see the boots paired with a denim skirt or a dress; and let’s not forget the adorable yellow bag – the perfect way to add color to any outfit. While the items alone are bit pricier, they offer such transferability to other pieces in your closet that I sincerely believe they are worth the investment and will, in the end, stretch your dollar by expanding your options. See below for some examples.
