I can’t believe the kids start school in less than four weeks! The summer has flown by and while it wasn’t the most eventful it was one of the happiest because Joseph has brought us all closer together and changed our lives forever. Hope everyone is having an amazing week!
Found this army green vest on sale at Shopbop. Plan to layer it up this fall.
Rediscovering Blue’s Clues with Joseph. My William, who’s going to be 16 in October, was a die hard Blues Clues fan. He carried around a little notebook all the time and had me draw clues every where we went. When he was at home he’d sit in his red chair with his bobo (what we call a binky in spanish) and scream a clue a clue! To see Joseph squeal when he hears the Blues Clues song brings back a lot of great memories.
This week we gave Joseph peas. It didnt go to well he gagged and refused to eat which is unlike him he’s usually game for anything so we decided to stick to just cereal for a couple of more weeks.
Nothing like fresh blow dried hair! 🙂 Ever since I bought my Hot Tools blow dryer my hair is so much smoother and easier to blow dry. I have lots of hair and I use to blow dry it by hand then use a flat iron to smooth out the top but now I can skip the flat iron.
I have a weakness for Cup O Noodles soup and always have them handy for last minute lunches.
Like any new mom, I’m totally obsessed with my beautiful new baby boy. He just started smiling and I walk around like I was the paparazzi snapping pics in the hopes of another great big gummy smile to share on Instagram. If you look at my Instagram feed you’ll notice that my kids are my usual focus (I have 5 boys so it’s sort of impossible not to be inspired). I always try to encourage them to do what they love and capturing those moments on camera is a dream come true for me!

I’ve been pretty busy moving and getting radjusting to my new house. I haven’t been able to take any photos of outfits and its been raining for about two weeks straight but I’ve been trying to snap some pics. Check out some of my
In the middle of a food run for the hungry movers I found this striped piggy at Walmart and had to have it!
Even though I didn’t do any major lifting I still needed a break. 🙂
Here’s William with his new guitar. I still remember when he was three how he would wake up every morning put on his Shrek cd, grab his little guitar and sing his heart out. 🙂
One of the very first things I hung was my favorite metallic mirror.
It’s been raining on and off for almost two weeks…I love it and I also love the new view from my backyard.
During the move I happen to find a box of old shoes and in it were my gold metallic flats that I’ve been looking for. YAY! 🙂
Hope everyone has a fun Fourth of July!
This weekend after I celebrated my sons 8th birthday I decided to take a few days off and do what I do best…SHOP! I took my time and hit a bunch of local Tampa boutiques that I love and found a ton of great stuff on sale. Although I never made it to a mall, I did make my obligatory stops at Ross, Marshalls and of course T.J. Maxx. My favorite purchases were the gray booties and chambray top seen below that I found for only $5 at T.J. Maxx. I’ve been looking for this particular worn-out grayish/taupe colored booties for some time now, and I finally found them on sale for only $20! The built in wedge gives me the height that I always want but still keeps me super comfy. I can’t wait to wear them with my shorts and skirts this summer (actually this weekend because it’s going to be in the 80’s). Click here for some outfit ideas.
I can’t believe he’s 8 years old!
I had an amazing Christmas with my family and celebrated New Year’s at my usual spot the Copa Restaurant & Lounge in Tampa (a small and friendly place that I LOVE). I was grateful for all that 2012 brought me and I look forward to another amazing year. Hope everyone’s year is off to to a great start.
Nothing but love on Christmas morning.
I love the fact that my little ones dressed themselves and the older ones still let me dress them. lol
Crazy week but grateful I got all my shopping done and I managed to snag a few things for myself. 🙂
