Pinspiration: Fall Florals

I usually only wear florals in some form of accessory during the spring and summer but this year the dainty feminine print is big for fall. Look for florals with a dark glamorous twist and pair it with all your favorite rich fall colors like forest greens, mustard yellow and winter whites. Below are some amazing street style inspiration and some pieces that I love.

Scott Disick’s Look for Less!

My favorite part about Keeping Up With The Kardashians has to be Scott Disick, I know I can’t be the only one! I love his sense of humor and his over the top extravagant style. His styles ranges from yacht club style to a little urban with big watches and leather jackets. Its impossible to not find at least one outfit that can fit your style. I chose a more urban look to recreate for less because it features two must haves for this fall, the bomber jacket and distressed jeans.  Check out the Lord below 😉

Double Breasted Cape Styled Three Ways

I love a classic cape!  Styling them is a cinch and takes any outfit to a sophisticated level.  I personally like a solid color because they’re easier to wear a ton of different ways.  The idea is to keep what you wear underneath them unfussy.  Keep sleeves long and pair with skinny jeans (or leather leggings for a edgy touch), a shift dress and even a maxi skirt.  Check out my favorite cape from Yesstyle for only $50 styled three ways.

Waxed skinnies and a leopard print sweater will give any cape a edgy feel.

Cape – $50 | Leopard Print Sweater – $24.99 | Waxed Skinny Jeans – $80  | Booties – $375 | Watch and Bracelet Set – $44 | Loop Satchel – $61

A Midi dress (another fall fave) will add a sexy touch to the classic cape.

Cape – $50  | Long Sleeve Midi Dress – $45 | Booties – $375 | Watch and Bracelet Set – $44 | Michael Kors Clutch – $108

For a casual look add a chambray top and graphic ankle pants to your  cape.

I’ve always loved me a comfy sweatshirt but this season I’m loving the idea of a sweatshirt  dressed up.  I loved the way Beyonce, Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung rocked their sweatshirts by simply accessorizing and adding heels. Pair with a sexy pencil skirt, plaid slacks or your favorite jeans and add some fab jewelry and you’re good to go.

For a adorable look pair this ruffled  sweatshirt with legging and heels.

Must Have Pieces For Layering

What would fall be without layering?  To help get the most out of fashions most creative and coziest season, you need to have the right pieces.  That means items that can easily mix and match or be easily worn from day to night.  To help kick off autumn I’ve picked some key must-have pieces for layering and how to wear them.

A little fur  on a vest will instantly make any outfit a little glam, cozy and chic.  Pair with jeans and a striped top for a easy casual look or a little black dress and tights for a quirky sexy look.

Faux Fur Trim Vest

A classic striped top with a touch of leather is a no brainer!  Layer it under cardigans, button downs and finish off the look with a scarf.

Striped Top

Add some denim to any outfit for a effortless feel.  Wear it under the vest with fur and the striped top for layering perfection!

Denim Top

A long cardigan will make layering dressier pieces a cinch!  Try it with a pencil skirt or even a maxi dress.

Long Cardigan

Necklaces and scarfs make any layering look instantly more stylish.  Try a long necklace and scarf for a flowy affect.

Long Tassle Necklace

A little black dress is the perfect canvas for all your layering needs.  Pick one that fits like a glove, add some tights or leggings and start adding layers.  You can start by adding a very thin turtle neck or  button down underneath.

10 Must Have Bags for Fall Under $100

September 9, 2013 by

I own a ton (and I mean a TON) of bags, but each season I only have about 3 on heavy rotation: a classic black satchel, a tote of some sort and a crossbody that also works as a clutch. Why do I only use 3 bags when I own about 3 dozens?  It’s part laziness, part being a creature of habit and a dash of always wanting to wear something new even though I have bags sitting in my closet with tags on lol.  I’m working on it 🙂  This fall i’m looking for bags in a deep red aka burgundy, something with metal details like studs and a funky crossbody bag.  Check out some bags that I’ve been eyeing.

Bold Blue Trend For Fall

Even though I don’t get to experience fall in its full glory, it will always be my favorite season.  The weather does drop a tad during the fall here in Florida, but it’s no where near enough for me to be able to layer  – so I look for ways to add little touches of fall where I can.  This fall I’m totally obsessing on the  blue trend whether it’s a mani, heels or a bag.  Blue gives the classic fall palettte a fun pop of color and can easily be paired with denim for a casual look or a little black dress for a quirky feel.  Check out some of my favorite  pieces under $100.

Pair these funky heels with some gray slacks and a leather jacket for a stylish look for work.

Blue & Leopard Print Heels – $38

A bold blue boyfriend blazer will give any outfit a polished pop of color. It’s perfect to wear over your favorite maxi dress or jeans.

Blue Boyfriend Blazer – $49.50

A pretty blue blouse will go with just about anything!  Pair it with a chunky knit cardigan, a sexy pencil skirt and comfy flats for a chic weekend look.

Royal Blue Blouse – $22.50

Bold Necklaces like these will stand out amongst all your fall favorites!  For a effortless glam look try layering it over a white turtleneck and finish off with some distressed jeans.
