This month, BVLGARI is introducing a specially-designed silver and ceramic ring in support of BVLGARI’s 2010-2011 pledged commitment to support quality education for the world’s neediest children.

SAVE THE CHILDREN RING

The ring emulates the unique design of the B.zero1 jewelry collection and will feature the STC logo engraved inside. The ring will be sold in international BVLGARI stores, select department stores, and on BVLGARI’s e-commerce website (active in the USA) for $370 (€350) each, of which $75(€60) will be donated to STC.

2009 marks the 125th anniversary of Italian luxury goods company Bulgari.  In honor of the year, Bulgari has chosen to support Save the Children’s Rewrite the Future Campaign.  Essentially, Bulgari has created three special pieces of limited edition jewelry to celebrate their 125th anniversary.  When one is purchased , $60 will go to Save the Children’s “Rewrite the Future” campaign.  Bulgari has released two of the rings over the last few months, and the newest piece is a pendant being sold for $290 (see picture below).  Willem Dafoe, Terrence Howard, Ben Stiller, Isabella Rossellini, Ginnifer Goodwin and many more celebrities have posed with the jewelry to draw attention to this cause.  Click here to view a fan-uploaded video of them during a photo shoot.

The Rewrite  the Future campaign is committed to providing quality education to 8 million children living conflict-affected areas by  the end of 2010.  Considerable progress has already been made by rebuilding schools, supplying much needed school supplies , and protecting children from abuse and exploitation — thus paving the way for a durable change in almost 6 million children’s lives.  Bulgari’s ultimate goal is to raise 10 million (European) for the campaign.
