I get a lot of beauty products to try out but I only review the products that I really do love. The last couple of months I’ve been getting some real gems. Last time I got the completely bare hair remover from a Klout perk and this time I got the magic pads created by Celebrity stylist Rob Harmon. They’re supposed to repair sun damage while fighting acne and repair wrinkles all with a simple swipe of the magic pads which have a combination of glycolic acid which helps the cell turnover along with salicylic acids to help control acne.
Despite living in Florida, I have no sun damage. But I do have acne prone skin and the start of some very fine lines around mouth so I could definitely see me benefiting from these magic pads. After one swipe I knew they would work wonders on my skin, but I wondered if they would actually dry out my skin because of the glycolic acid. After a few seconds my skin actually felt soft, fresh and my pores instantly looked small – I loved it! I’ve been using it daily and so far I’ve been able to drop my acne skin wash thanks to the pads. They really do sound like they’re too good to be true but they are. At only $19.99 the Magic Pads do the job of probably three different pricey products. It’s perfect for women and men of all ages!
The Magic Pads use a unique blend of Glycolic acid, Organic Willow Bark, Hualuronic acid and VitaminE in an Organic Aloe Vera juice base, the pads are designed to organically destroy acne, clear blemishes, smooth and tighten skin, shrink pores, exfoliate, tone, clarify and hydrate.
I only wish the Magic Pads were sent to me years ago! For more info about the amazing Magic Pads you visit –
I don’t know about you but I’ve had my fair share of occasions where I was in deperate need of a quick shave – especially now during the summer when anytime is beach time. Gilette has done it once again and created another genius product: The

Below are some of my must have items all under $20. I didn’t include amoisturizer on purpose, I have extremely oily skin and have yet to find one that doesn’t make me break out so right now I’m just using the Clarins Double Serum that I was sent to review (read about it here) it leaves my face incredibly soft and so far I have not broken out or really needed any moisturizer.

Like any new mom, I’m totally obsessed with my beautiful new baby boy. He just started smiling and I walk around like I was the paparazzi snapping pics in the hopes of another great big gummy smile to share on Instagram. If you look at my Instagram feed you’ll notice that my kids are my usual focus (I have 5 boys so it’s sort of impossible not to be inspired). I always try to encourage them to do what they love and capturing those moments on camera is a dream come true for me!

Over the past couple of years or so fashion contact lenses have become the ‘must have’ accessory. Most of all, celebrities are going mad for them, with Paris Hilton being one of many avid fans. The reason behind Paris wearing her beautiful blue contacts as a beauty accessory is to help her get into the character she portrays in front of the cameras. Other celebrities who have been in the spotlight wearing a fabulous pair include the likes of Britney Spears, Jenifer Aniston and more recently Kim Kardashian.
I’m guessing that their hectic and maybe sleepless schedules, along with the pressure of always looking remarkable, have made
Searching for some beautiful fashion contacts I came across
The greatest thing about Eyesbright is that they accommodate and suggest contact lenses for darker eye shades. Some contact lenses don’t cover your natural colour and when this happens it can be quite disheartening. And, if you’re a little cautious about wearing a pair of colour contacts,
They were really easy to insert and sat perfectly on my eye. I can’t tell you how many compliments I received, even from my male friends who always seem oblivious to any change I make to my appearance. With colour contact lenses it’s best to wear them for a couple of hours just so your eyes get used to having a foreign body on them. Once you’re confident in wearing them, I’ve found they’re really comfortable to wear, but do make sure you don’t wear them for long periods of time, as I’ve found this can cause irritation.
I’m really impressed with the selection of lenses available to choose from at Eyesbright, I’m sure I’ll become a regular customer, especially with
I recently used two new products for review: the new StriVection-SD for stretch marks and wrinkles as well as the StriVectin-SD Eye Concentrate. After four weeks, OMG they work! I have an olive skin tone and my stretch marks (from gaining and losing weight) are concentrated around my stomach and upper arms. The stretch marks are still there, but the discoloration was drastically reduced. I also used generous amounts of StriVectin-SD on my neck after washing at night. It’s made my skin smoother and tighter and I still have some left after four weeks.
The eye cream made a noticable difference after one day of use. I struggle with dark circles under my eyes and I was extremely pleased to see the color revert back to normal, the skin around my eyes tighten and an overall softness in such a quick time. I would definately recommend both products and I will continue to use both. Check them out below:
Love having long thick wavy hair, but it can be a bit overwhelming during the summer. The last thing I want to do on a long hot day is blow dry my hair for 30 minutes and then straighten for another 15! After years of buying every frizz free product out there I’ve finally tamed my mane with four products. Now if I straighten my hair it last for about 5 days and when I’m to lazy to blowdry and want beachy waves I air dry and still NO FRIZZ! Below are my fave products that I swear by:
Absolutely love the new
