I get a lot of beauty products to try out but I only review the products that I really do love. The last couple of months I’ve been getting some real gems. Last time I got the completely bare hair remover from a Klout perk and this time I got the magic pads created by Celebrity stylist Rob Harmon. They’re supposed to repair sun damage while fighting acne and repair wrinkles all with a simple swipe of the magic pads which have a combination of glycolic acid which helps the cell turnover along with salicylic acids to help control acne.
Despite living in Florida, I have no sun damage. But I do have acne prone skin and the start of some very fine lines around mouth so I could definitely see me benefiting from these magic pads. After one swipe I knew they would work wonders on my skin, but I wondered if they would actually dry out my skin because of the glycolic acid. After a few seconds my skin actually felt soft, fresh and my pores instantly looked small – I loved it! I’ve been using it daily and so far I’ve been able to drop my acne skin wash thanks to the pads. They really do sound like they’re too good to be true but they are. At only $19.99 the Magic Pads do the job of probably three different pricey products. It’s perfect for women and men of all ages!
The Magic Pads use a unique blend of Glycolic acid, Organic Willow Bark, Hualuronic acid and VitaminE in an Organic Aloe Vera juice base, the pads are designed to organically destroy acne, clear blemishes, smooth and tighten skin, shrink pores, exfoliate, tone, clarify and hydrate.
I only wish the Magic Pads were sent to me years ago! For more info about the amazing Magic Pads you visit –
I’m not one to wear tons and tons of makeup. My makeup routine is pretty simple: a dusting of powder foundation, a dab of bronzing powder and lots of mascara. But I noticed after having Joseph that my makeup routine was not cutting it – my skin was dull and just overall blah due to all the pregnancy hormones. In addition to replacing all those cups of coffee with water, I’ve been looking for a product that would allow my skin to breathe and shine on its own. Which is why I was super excited to be offered the 30 of beautiful challenge and try the new Clarins Double Serum! I’ve been a fan of Clarins for many many years and I’ve heard amazing stuff about the Double Serum.
Clarins Double Serum is powered by 20 pure plant extracts and potent, high-tech molecules—Double Serum’s innovative, dual chamber system combines two age-defying formulas into one groundbreaking serum that reactivates skin’s vital functions and promising results in just 4 weeks. I wanted to give this product a really fair shot so I went without makeup and moisturizer during the 30 days (only during my days at home) and let the product really do its thing.
I religiously applied it after washing my face in the morning and at night. One of my favorite things about the double serum is the smell – it’s divine and exactly like you’d expect any Clarins products to smell – rich ! I gave it a couple of days before I started to analyze my skin but I could literally feel it working. My skin immediately felt more plump and softer. Within 2 weeks it was noticeably brighter to the point where I was able to skip my foundation and that’s when I was hooked! After the full 30 days my pores and small fine lines were less noticeable. And it didn’t aggravate my sensitive oily skin which is a HUGE plus for me.
I realize that no amount of makeup or beauty product will ever match natural beauty but there comes a time in life when you need a little help, and Clarins Double Serum definitely does the trick and then some! So glad I tried this out – it has inspired me to keep up my new skin regiment and wear even less makeup.
