I love a good giveaway and with Mother’s Day just a couple days away I had to share this special one from our friends over at Long Elegant Legs. LEL specializes in style for the tall and elegant and to help celebrate Mother’s Day they have put together a giveaway for moms of all sizes (more info here). They are opening up their giveaway up to Fashiongrail readers as well.  Up for grabs is a printed canvas of a photo of your choice that can be converted to a modern black and white or a subtle sepia tone (print will be available to preview and approve before it’s shipped out to you) and your choice of either a $100 Long Elegant Legs Gift Card, two items from the LEL store or a $100 American Express gift card.

Mothers Day Giveaway

All you need to do is leave a comment below describing the best fashion tip or advice your mom taught you. Three winners will be chosen at random and announced on Mother’s Day (May 11). Lucky winner will be contacted by Long Elegant legs themselves to arrange delivery of your canvas and choice of gift. Entries close at 5PM EST on Mother’s Day, May 11.

***There are no shipping charges or any other fees associated with this giveaway.

Our mom always says “less is more” when we dress, this includes accessories and make up – 3 generations of women in our family love and appreciate simple-classics

  2. Jessie C. says:

The best tip my mom taught us is stay simple. Elegance starts with simplicity, never overdone.

  3. Lisa Brown says:

My mother taught me to wear what is comfortable, and you feel looks good; for makeup, keep it simple. Thank you!

  4. Julie says:

My mom taught me to be myself and dress what I felt comfortable in

  5. Tina B. says:

My mother taught me to wear one statement accessory that calls attention to your outfit but doesn’t overwhelm it. For example; a stunning pair of earrings or a great scarf to give punch to your ensemble.

  6. Mary Jenkins says:

I come from a long line of natural beauties so my mom wasn’t big on fashion. But she did teach me to preserve what nature gave me. She said, “Moisturize!” I’m in my late 30’s and my skin looks great still because I used Ponds Dry Skin cream since I was 11 or so!
