Update: The winner of the England’s Belle Peacock Hair Pin is Cafe Fashionista with the following comment: “Upper East Side is my favorite, favorite piece of the lot!  I would wear it with black skinny jeans, sleek black mid-calf boots, a cropped black blazer, and miles of white draping pearls – I believe that the pops of red within the feathers would provide the punchy color that my all-black ensemble was lacking. Also, this particular piece reminds me of a flapper, so I wouldn’t mind donning it with a short red or black fringed flapper dress – so elegant”! :)

Congratulations Cafe Fashionista and a big thank you to all of you who participated!

  1. What would you wear with it?

My favorite piece is “LADY VINTAGE”.

I have a black vintage blazer that I would wear with it – with a light purple blouse and a black pencil skirt.

    Beautiful pieces.

I love the Lady Duchess – Grey and Black. I’d wear it with my black cocktail dress to a social party 🙂

Loved the English Cottage design best. What would I wear with it? As a pregnant woman I seek anything that distracts from the ever-growing bump. I’d wear the tightest of little black dresses if I had this in my hair. Who would be able to pull their gaze below the glorious feathers atop my head at that point?

    I’m collecting all colours,, wooot!

I’d wear the Golden Pheasant Heart Feathers with a LBD.

I had the privilege of hosting one of Blair’s giveaways at http://www.chicgalleria.com. Her pieces are absolutely jaw-dropping stunning! I would love to own one of the feathered headbands!

  7. I adore her Vintage Russian Lace piece. I don’t normally wear “fancy clothes” being a SAHM but I’m actually going to a benefit in a few weeks and am wearing a very pretty LBD. I’d totally put that in my hair and get some killer purple heels to match the feathers in the hair clip.

I like the purple one pictured! Or At the Races! I would most certainly pair either or with an all white ensemble. A white corset-like top with skintight white leather pants and spike heel stilettos with feathers on them. Of course, a hairpiece wouldn’t be completely accessorized without a pair of gloves. I’d pick fingerless lace with brightly painted nails and gold bangles, earrings and necklace to tie it all together.

I love the London Gossip piece. It’s simple, classy, and intricate.

I would dress that piece with a white halter blouse and side tie similar to this blouse by Ecoganik Clothing: http://tr.im/rkbt
I would combine it with a pair of deep red-hot velvet riding pants to create a throwback look, much like jillconway’s pants here: http://tr.im/rk7U
I would accompany the outfit with Ecoganik’s Tucked Cuff Jacket: http://tr.im/rk8n
then throw in a cameo bracelet like this: http://tr.im/rk9Z
grab any pair of black boots and there you have it…a dressy/casual outfit that would rock my world.

though i’m normally more into headbands than pins, my favorite is the cambden town pin – my last name is peacock so i couldn’t pick anything else to be my signature! i also like the jewel and tulle additions to it.

though it’s already pretty colorful, i’d probably pair it with a contrasting long-sleeved, backless red dress (a la blair waldorf like this one: http://tr.im/rBgW) to make the color pop even more. i’d wear with a thin black belt around the waist and black pumps, while keeping other accessories to a minimum to let the hair pin do the talking.

  11. I LOVE LOVE LOVE “Pretty Lady” …I have an obsession with peacock’s and their beautiful feathers. I’d wear this in my hair…just like model in the photo. The only difference is I’d be at the beach, in a sexy black bikini with my little boy…playing the sand…in the Hamptons, of course. Why? because I believe this can be worn anywhere & I’m just the personality to pull it off.

    My favorite is Camden Town.

I would pair this piece with my leather bomber jacket, lacy silk teal green tunic, a layered tulled skirt, and my flat black biker boots. This is a mixture of styles (edgy, glam, classy), and is most definitely an outfit to be worn for a night on the town.
